In a not-so-distant-future....a long, long time ago...
Have your character time-travel! No matter what time they're already set in, have them travel either in the future or in the past. Describe how they would react and to what. Also describe the time period they're in. And have fun! These are great ways to learn more about our characters and explore new things ourselves. (Sci-fi for example or historical fiction).
